I'm Kate Van Pelt, a recent Ph.D. graduate in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan. I completed my doctoral research in the Truttmann Lab, where I studied the regulation of HSP70 family chaperones using invertebrate, mouse, and hESC-derived models of polyglutamine expansion diseases. ​
